When we say 'team', we really mean . . . two people.
Or, one and a bit.
Headcase, while operating as a fully functioning online magazine, series of podcasts and multiple social media platforms, with national media coverage, amazing guests and a serious caffeine habit, is run on zero budget, with no funding, largely by one person.
Her hair is going grey, but she's sure it's worth it.
So...here we are:
Liz is the creator of Headcase. She does all of the research, contacting guests, commissioning, editing, podcasting, podcast editing, publicity, media, marketing and admin.
She really is SO lazy.
Just occasionally she finds all of this a little overwhelming, and goes into something of a meltdown for a few days, before popping back up to carry on saving the world.
It may also explain why you might not always get a reply to your emails very quickly.
When not wearing her Headcase hat, Liz is busy on lots of other projects, including writing books and columns, going on TV and radio as a parenting and social commentator, and trying to work out how to FaceTime her three teenagers.
Liz has a degree in Experimental Psychology and Neuroscience from Cambridge University, which has so far come in useful...never.
She is a best-selling author and columnist, a podcaster, stand-up and TV commentator, and has worked in broadcasting for 18 years, with such tremendous accolades as presenting the BBC's Live&Kicking with Mr Blobby under her little belt. (He wasn't under her belt. That would be quite uncomfortable. And not little at all.)
In her huge amounts of spare time Liz is a competitive runner, and hoards granola in her bag.
Mike Sim - photographer
Mike makes things look very very beautiful.
A successful and highly-skilled food and wedding photographer, he also works on all of our in-house design, and takes almost all of our photographs - including every single portrait for our huge launch exhibition in London, which now form our Headcaser of the Month features.
He is the co-presenter of our weekly podcast, Head to Head, and, despite having no previous broadcasting experience, is infuriatingly good.
Mike has battled depression for many years, and through sheer hard work and determination, has successfully kicked a rather nasty love-affair with the bottle firmly on the head.
He is also a golf PT, a kick-ass barista, and swears like a true Scot.
Please go and look at his beautiful photos here, and employ him immediately.
